My Interests

PC Building

I’m truly passionate about custom PC builds! Almost every system I’ve owned has been personally hand-assembled; laptops being the only exception. There’s something incredibly fulfilling about assembling a machine precisely tuned to my needs, whether it’s for gaming, a home server, a home-lab setup, or sometimes just for the sheer fun of building another one. Each build is an opportunity to optimize performance for a specific purpose—or just because I love the process!

Virtualization

Virtualization maximizes the potential of underutilized or idle hardware resources, enabling more efficient and flexible technology utilization. It’s truly astonishing to consider that code running on a computer can trick the operating system into believing it’s being installed on actual physical hardware—such a brilliant feat of virtualization magic!

Networking

IP Networking has always captivated me. The complexities of how computers, servers, switches, and routers seamlessly interconnect and communicate are truly fascinating. It’s incredible to witness the intricate dance of data packets across the network, and the satisfaction that comes from seeing everything function flawlessly – when the blinking lights of interconnectivity start, it’s a testament to the precision and reliability of modern networking.

About Me

I’m a passionate PC enthusiast who loves custom builds. From gaming rigs to home servers, home-lab setups, and just building for the fun of it—each system I assemble is a unique experience. I’ve hand-built nearly every computer I’ve owned (laptops being the only exception), and there’s something endlessly satisfying about crafting a machine that’s perfectly tuned to my needs. Whether it’s optimizing performance or just reveling in the build process itself, I’m hooked on the art of custom PC building. When it comes to virtualization, I’m in awe of how underutilized hardware can be transformed into a powerful powerhouse. The magic of virtualization is like wizardry to me. Code that tricks an operating system into believing it’s running on real, physical hardware? Now that’s impressive. Networking is another one of my obsessions. I’m endlessly captivated by how computers, servers, switches, and routers interconnect and communicate seamlessly. Watching data packets travel across the network, seeing the network activity lights, there’s a certain thrill in witnessing everything working in perfect harmony. To me, that blinking light isn’t just an indicator; it’s a symbol of the precision and reliability of modern networking in action.
